Hey there. I hope you're having a great day and I also hope you would bear with my short yet okay introduction which may sound a little cheesy but I swear it's not. I am Chandra Bahadur Gurung, originally from a historical and magnificent district called "Gorkha" in Nepal. I come from a family of very dedicated farmers in a small village which is represented as "Patishwora". Dedicating my young life to studies and physical work in a small village, I was successfully able to arrive in "Kathmandu" in 1991 ( the capital of Nepal) for further studies and employment, with the appreciative support of my parents on my decision which I'm always grateful for. Since 1992, I have been working in this tourism sector as my main employment and it has already been 29 years. Being born in a village that resembles a lot of effort from an individual specifically in a physical way, I guess I found my comfort zone as my body was used to, in this tourism sector.
I spent much of my life in the mountains and started carrier as a trekking guide, guiding trekkers from the Everest region on camping treks.I had my one lucky friend who helped me to etablish a trekking company called (Glacier Nepal Treks ) filled with many years of our own experiences.
I love and will love this work as a trekking guide that helped me to cope with the nature and explore its extreme beauty reaching exhilarating destinations. Thank You .
