Overview

Yala Peak is a famous trekking Peak in the Langtang region. Langtang Valley Trek attracts thousands of local and foreign tourists annually.  Langtang Valley trek is all about exploring the beautiful villages, natural and cultural diversity, and the beautiful trails offering breathtaking views of the Langtang mountain range. The majestic view of Yala peak from along the trails and Kyanjin Gompa leaves any trekker. The trek offers a memorable walk along the banks of Langtang river right from the starting point to the final station, Kyanjin Gompa. Then trek to Yala base amp (4,790m/15,715ft). Climbing sherpa gives you basic training and proper ways of using climbing gears for climbing. Overnight stays tented camp. we start our journey at 3-4 am from Yala base camp before leaving Yala base camp we need to check all gears and water too. It takes 4-5 hours to the Yala peak top. Before the top, we need a fixed main rope. When we are on the Yala peak top enjoying views of Langtang Lirung 7246m, Dorje Lakpa 6990, Langtang Himal, Sisha Pangma 8,027m,Yubra, Gangchempo 6388m, Tesrko Ri, and other Tibetan mountains. One of the prime highlights of the Langtang valley trek is Langtang village that got completely destroyed in April 2015 earthquake. Despite having faced such a tragedy Langtang is strongly bouncing back to welcome tourists from every corner of the world. 

Trip Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrive in Kathmandu (1,350m/4,428ft)

You arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport. Glacier Nepal treks representative welcomes you at the airport and takes you to the hotel by privet vehicle. After a short rest, You will meet the guide at our office. you may have some questions about trekking he will give you an answer to the question. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 : Stay in Kathmandu for the official procedure

Exploring Kathmandu Sightseeing Points – Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa & Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), and Kathmandu Durbar Square. evening some paperwork and your trekking guide will check your gear and outfit.

Day 3 : Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1,510m/4,950ft): 7-8 hrs

After an early breakfast at the hotel, we make our departure from Kathmandu to Syabru Besi our trekking point, which is of 7 hours drive. On the way from Kathmandu, we get to observe views of the Himalayan, including the Annapurnas, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal and the peaks of the Langtang region. Overnight stay at the local lodge at Syabru Besi.

Day 4 : Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel (2,380m/7,830ft): 6-7 hrs

We start our trek from northwest of Syabru Besi to a suspension bridge over the Bhote Koshi. Turning right at the eastern end of the bridge we walk into a small settlement of Syabru Besi and visit a Gompa, then follow the stone-paved street to a bridge over the Langtang Khola, trail on the south side of the river, forests- make a steep climb over a rocky ridge, then to a junction from where the trail climbs over and reaches Rimche and from here descend to Chantang, widely known as Lama Hotel

Day 5 : Lama Hotel to Langtang village (3,430m/11,255ft): 6-7 hrs

To begin our trek for the day we start climbing through a forest of hemlocks, oaks, and rhododendrons high above the Langtang Khola, then move to Gumanchok, 15 minutes from here we will be at Ghunama and climb to Ghora Tabela at an elevation of 2970m. From this point we proceed to Chamki through Thaugshyap, then descend into a valley to cross a stream passing several water-driven mills to the large settlement of Langtang. Overnight stay at Langtang Village.

Day 6 : Langtang to Kyangjin Gompa (3,870m/12,697ft): 4-5 hrs

We wind up the trail through the village and climb onto a ridge then steadily climb passing through the small village of Mundu to Sindum. One more hour of walking will reach us to the pastures of Yamphu. Crossing the Laja Khola and weaving through some rocks we climb towards the Kyangjin Gompa. There are lodges in enough number at this place. We spend the rest of our day relaxing and exploring the surroundings.

Day 7 : Acclimatization day hike to Tserko Ri (4,985m/16,350ft) 7-8 hrs

To spend the whole day in Kyangjin and make it a pleasant one we can walk up the moraine north of Kyangjin Gompa to catch glimpses of the magnificent views of Langtang Lirung, Yansa Tsenji, and Kinshung as well as the foot of the huge Lirung Glacier.

Day 8 : Kyangjing Gumba to Yala Peak Basecamp (4,790m/15,715ft): 5-6 hours

Too early having breakfast, today we trek to Yala base amp (4,790m/15,715ft). It takes 6-7 hours. The first 30 minutes flat and cross the river steep limb 1:30 hours then gradually up to the Yala base camp. After lunch today we give training for climbing for 2-3 hours on the Yala base camp. we will have an early dinner and discuss tomorrow's program. Overnight stays tented camp

Day 9 : Summit (5,732m/18,805ft) back to Kyangjing Gumba 9-10 hours

Too early breakfast. Today we start our journey at 3-4 am from Yala base camp before leaving Yala base camp we need to check the water for the day. It takes 4-5 hours to the Yala peak top. Before the top, we need a fixed main rope. When we are on the Yala peak top enjoying views of Langtang Lirung 7246m, Dorje Lakpa 6990, Langtang Himal, Sisha Pangma8,027m,Yubra, Gangchempo 6388m, Tesrko Ri, and other Tibetan mountains. After the summit, we will back to Yala base camp and have lunch, and towards Kyanjin Gompa.0vernigt stay ay Kyanjin Gompa.

Day 10 : Kyangjn Gompa to Lama Hotel: 6-7 hrs

Following the Langtang Khola to Langtang village, we continue retracing the route from Kyangjin to Lama hotel. Overnight stay at Lama hotel.

Day 11 : Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi: 4-5 hours

After the breakfast heading down to Syabrubesi beside the Langtang river. Overnight at Syabrubesi.

Day 12 : Drive from Syabrubesi to Kathmandu

Drive back to Kathmandu it takes around 6 hours,Upon reaching Kathmandu, you can utilize your time for last-minute shopping or you can explore the city. We celebrate the Farewell Dinner together with us and spend overnight at the hotel.

Day 13 : Final Departure

This is your final day in Nepal. Glacier Nepal treks representative will drop you at Tribhuwan international airport by privet vehicle. Home sweet home.
