Overview

Nar phu trek is opened for trekkers since in 2002. Situated North off the Annapurna and Manang village, Attraction of the trek is Tibetan influenced lifestyles. You will take a drive to Jagat via Besisahar and start trekking to Koto through the beautiful villages of Dharapani. From Koto you will trek to Nar Phu valley enjoying stunning landscape views. The dramatic views of snow-capped peaks, medieval villages, Tibetan culture, Tashi Lakhang Monastery and high alpine valleys are the prime attractions of Nar Phu valley. Your guide will tell you interesting details about Tibetan culture in this region. After exploring Nar Phu valley you will cross Kang La pass 5315m to get to Manang and Bhotia villages in the Neyshang valley. You will trek to the west of this valley and cross Thorong La Pass at 5416 m and descend to Muktinath temple. After then you will further descend down to the world’s deepest gorge Kaligandaki. From there you will trek to Jomsom and fly out to Kathmandu. After the trek, you will explore Kathmandu and indulge in amazing activities until your departure.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrive in Kathmandu (1,350m/4,428ft)

You arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport. Glacier Nepal treks representative welcomes you at the airport and takes you to the hotel by privet vehicle. After a short rest, You will meet the guide at our office. you may have some questions about trekking he will give you an answer to the question. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 : Kathmandu: Sightseeing and Trek Preparation

Exploring Kathmandu Sightseeing Points – Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa & Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), and Kathmandu Durbar Square. evening some paperwork and your trekking guide will check your gear and outfit.

Day 3 : Kathmandu to Jagat Drive (1,300m/3,608ft): 8-9 hours

After having breakfast we will drive by road from Kathmandu to Jagat village which will be the starting point of our treks. Jagat is a small village elevation of about 1300 m and from here we can see a view of the waterfall is on the other side. Overnight at Jagat

Day 4 : Jagat to Dharapani (1,960m/6,430ft): 6-7hours

After having breakfast we start the trek early in the morning we trek through the waterfalls, terraces field, and forest after Chamje we need to cross the suspension bridge and gradually up to Tal from Tal we enter the Manang district after Tal we also pass through koto village and walk on the trail cross another bridge reach Dharapani this village biggest village in this Annapurna region. Overnight at Dharapani

Day 5 : Dharapani to Koto (2,610m/8,563ft): 5-6 hours

After having breakfast today we need to walk the forest and several landslides on the way to Koto. Ascend up to Timang village from Timang remarkable view of Mt.Annapurna-2, Lamjung Himal, and Manasulu after that reach to Koto.Overnight at Koto.

Day 6 : Koto to Meta (3,560m/11,680ft): 7-8 hours

After the breakfast drop steeply down to a suspension bridge and head up right side of Nar Phu Khola. the gorge is narrows to a thin slice, the trail huge the cliff face. Crossing the Phu khola  time before we arrive Dharamsala. from the Dharamsala  another hours and half to Meta. Overnight at Meta 

Day 7 : Meta to Phu Gaon (4,250m/13,944ft): 7-8 hours

After the breakfast trek to Phu, Kang Garu (6981m/22,903ft) is one of the nepal's challenging trekking peak.in 2005 avalanche killed 18 frinch and sherpa. To reach Jhunam we walk through chorten,from Jhunam,descend to the khola. continus past a mani wall and some cave high on the far cliff,to reach the suspension bridge and camp side just across from the village of Phu.

Day 8 : Acclimatization at Phu Gaon

Today we have rest day to explore Phu,Phu is an extraordinary village of around  41 houses piled up on a bluff at the junction of a side valley. Tashi Lhakhang Gopma is most importent monastery in Nar- Phu. A fine kora leads up past blue painted mani stones and blackdown to the lama helipad, offering exclellent views of Phu.overnight at Phu

Day 9 : Phu Gaon to Nar (4,110m/13,484ft): 6-7 hours

After the breakfast, the trail then  drops past fantastically eroded hoodoos, over sandy gullies connected by bridge like platforms. after some time Nar phedi .from here climb start immediately with a steep burst up to the main trail and it dosent ease up for an hour, we can see fantastic pisang peak.over night at Nar

Day 10 : Acclimatization and preparation at Nar

Today is rest day to Explore Nar, Nar village is Larger then Phu. The village's four Kaagyud gompas are worth a visit, though trecking down the keys from the four different caretakers can eat up a large chunk of the day. the four gumbas are: Guru Choling Gompa, Samten Pelgye Ling, Kunsel Dechen Choling Gumpa, and Samdru Choling Gumpa. over night at Nar.

Day 11 : Nar to Kang La Pass (5,322m/17,460ft) to Ngwal (3,660m/12,008ft): 7-8 hours

We start early in the morning, it's about less then 2 hours to reach Kang La Phedi, snowand ice as late as September, but the trail is generally Kept clear by convoys and yaks. we pass before ice melts and it become slippery. its zigzags up to reach Kang La. offers awesome views of Annapurna Gangapurna and Tilecho, Humde Airport as wall as. now descend down to Ngwal, we are back to Annapurna main trail. Overnight at Ngwal.

Day 12 : Ngwal to Manang (3,540m/11,614ft): 4-5 hours

After the breakfast we walk down to brakha,Then Manang. This days trail become a dusty road. road goes up to Khangsar. we have to walk till Manang. in Manang we can explore.Over night at Manang.

Day 13 : Manang to Yak Kharka (4,110m/13,484ft): 3-4 hours

After the breafast trek to Yak Kharka, after passing the Manag village there is two trail, left trail goes to Tilecho lake highest lake in the world and we turn right to Tanki Manang after an hour we have short  break for the tea enjoing the view of Mt Gangapurna and  Annapurna 3, after the short break we walk gradually up to Yak Kharka. overnight at Yak Kharka

Day 14 : Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi (4,600m/15,092ft): 3-4 hours

After having breakfast we walk about 45 minutes uphill and cross the suspension bridge to reach Ladar there are few hotels. we ascend and cross the river past the landslide before reaching Thorong Phedi this time hotel in high camp also but we choose to stay at Phedi. Overnight at Phedi.

Day 15 : Thorong Phedi to Thorong La (5,416m/17764ft) to Muktinath (3,800m/12,467ft): 7-8 hours

Today we take breakfast early in the morning. we have a steep climb up to high camp after that gradually up to the top. Thorong la pass is one of the highest passes in the world and is a very famous pass for tourists. when we make it to the top, we can take a few photos and have a drink of tea when we descend views of Dhaulagiri, Muktinath valley, mustang valley, and Muktinath temple is very famous for Hindus. Overnight at Muktinath.

Day 16 : Muktinath to Jomsom (2,715m/8,910ft): 5-6 hours

To early in the morning visit the Muktinath temple there are 108 taps and a stream above the temple. we can enjoy the view of Dhaulagiri after having breakfast and descend from Ekle Bhati over to Jomsom through the Kali Gandaki river and windy areas before reaching Jomsom. Overnight at Jomsom.

Day 17 : Jomsom to Pokhara Flight (827m/2,700ft): 30 min flight

After having breakfast we fly to Pokhara with spectacular views of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Fishtail, and Himchuli. Afternoon we can take a boat ride and visit the Davis Falls evening visit around the lakeside for buying souvenirs.

Day 18 : Pokhara to Kathmandu (1,300m/4,428ft): 5-6 hours drive

From Pokhara to Kathmandu Drive we have to leave our hotel at 7 am after breakfast and the bus leaves at 7:30 am from the Tourist Bus Park. Upon reaching Kathmandu, you can utilize your time for last-minute shopping or you can explore the city. We celebrate the Farewell Dinner together with us and spend overnight at the hotel.

Day 19 : Final Departure

This is your final day in Nepal. Glacier Nepal treks representative will drop you to Tribhuwan international airport by privet vehicle. Home sweet home.
