Overview

The sublime views from mount Lobuche make it one of the most quintessentially well-known mountain treks, notwithstanding its trouble level being more testing than that of close by Island Peak. Trip Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrive in Kathmandu (1,350m/4,428ft)

You arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport. Glacier Nepal treks representative welcomes you at the airport and takes you to the hotel by privet vehicle. After a short rest, You will meet the guide at our office. you may have some questions about trekking he will give you an answer to the question. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 : Stay in Kathmandu for the official procedure

Exploring Kathmandu sightseeing points, Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa & Swayambhunath Stupa( Monkey Temple) and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Evening some paperwork and your trekking guide will check your gear and outfit.

Day 3 : Kathmandu to Phakding (2,651m/8,700ft) : 3-4 hours

It’s about 35 min flight from Kathmandu. You will meet our staff at Lukla airport. you have breakfast at Lukla. Now we are ready to start our trek. It is downhill until Thadekoshi you will see the beautiful view of mt. Kusum Kanguru now we walk next to Dudh Kosi river up to Phakding. Overnight at Phakding.

Day 4 : Phakding to Namche Bazar (3,438m/11,280ft) : 5-6 hours

After breakfast, we start trekking before reaching the Banker you can see the beautiful view of mt Thamserku. Today we enter Sagarmatha ( Everest Nepali name) national park. After crossing the several times suspension bridge we climb up we will see the first view of Mt. Everest. If you get lucky you may see a red panda before reaching Namche Bazaar. Overnight at Namche Bazaar.

Day 5 : Acclimatization day

Namche Bazar is a gateway to Everest and the biggest village in this region. We hike to the Everest view hotel to acclimatize and to see the spectacular view of mt Everest, Lhotse, Amadablam Nuptse, and many other peaks. after heading back to Namche you can also visit the Sagarmatha national park head office, sherpa museum, and market, some cafés show movies about Everest and sherpas overnight at Namche Bazaar.

Day 6 : Namche Bazaar to Phortse (3,740m/12,394ft) : 5-6 hours

After breakfast, we trek to Kanjoma and ascent to mong-la from here you can see an amazing view of Mt Amadablam, Thamserku and yak Khang then drop down to Dudh Koshi river. Climb up through the rhododendron forest to Phortse. You can visit a monastery in the evening. overnight at Phortse.

Day 7 : Phortse to Dingboche (4,360m/14,300ft) : 5-6 hours

We trek ridge of the mountain in this route you will not get any house for the next three hours. Before you left Photse to check your water and any other thing if you need it before reaching Pangboche. now we are at the main trekking train like other trekkers crossing the mani wall and prayer flags. Now the trail is easier than the last part until Dingboche, now we are at the highest real village in this region where you will potato fields. Overnight at Dingboche.

Day 8 : Dingboche to Lobuche (4,940m/16,207ft) : 4-5 hours

The trail is gradual up until the end of the Khumbu glacier, today we gain a few more hundred meters. You have to be careful with your pace and your guide’s instruction. From Thukla trail is steep up Thukla pass. Now you are at a memorial place where you will see another amazing view of Pumori, Nuptse, Lobuche peak, and many more peaks. Lobuche lies at the next Khumbu glacier. overnight at Lobuche.

Day 9 : Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5,170m/16,961ft) : 6-7 hours

Today is one most important days of the Everest base camp trek. Heading to Gorakshep and Everest base camp 5364m/17,598ft beside the Khumbu glacier all day long above 5000 must be quite difficult for most trekkers. From the Everest base camp, you can see the only top of mt. Everest, Khumbu icefall, and other mountains. After spending some time at base camp we return to Gorakshep. Overnight at Gorakshep.

Day 10 : Gorak Shep to Lobuche Base camp: 7-8 hours hike to Kalapatthar (5545m/18,192ft)

Today we wake up very early in the morning to hike to Kalapatthar 5545m/18192ft. It takes a couple of hours to reach the top. Now you will see the sunrise and spectacular view of Mt Everest, Nuptse, Pumori, Amadablam, Thamserku,Tabuche peak, and Khumbu glacier. After one hour we walk down to Gorekshep.After having breakfast trek down to Lobuche. Overnight stay at Lobuche.

Day 11 : Lobuche to Lobuche high camp (5,400m/17,171ft): 4-5 hours

After having breakfast, we trek to Lobuche high camp 5400m/17,171ft after lunch we train for climbing. Overnight at tented camp.

Day 12 : Summit back to base camp (6,119m/20,075ft) 8 -10 hours.

Today we woke up very early in the morning and have breakfast. we ascend with many difficulties, and technical challenges, using an Ice ax and a fixed rope to reach the Summit  Lobuche peak is 6,119m/20,075ft. It takes about 8 to 10 hours to go and back to Lobuche high camp.On the top, we can see the view of Thamserku, Kangtega, Ama Dablam and Chholatse,etc.  We spend a short time at the summit then we descend to the same route Lobuche high camp. Overnight at the tented camp.

Day 13 : Lobuche high camp to pangboche (4100m/13,450ft): 6-7 hours

After having breakfast at the tea house, today we trek down to Pangboche. Through the Pheriche village and Somare. Overnight stay at Pangboche.

Day 14 : Pangboche to Namche Bazar (3,440m/11,280ft) : 6-7 hours

After having breakfast we walk down to a river, after crossing a suspension bridge we walk through the alpine forest to Dibuche then climb up to Tengboche. We visit the Tengboche monastery.  also known as Dawa Choling Gompa is the largest gompa in the Everest region. now the trail is zigzag descent to Phungitanga. Ascent to Kenjoma and get back to Namche Bazaar. Overnight at Namche Bazaar.

Day 15 : Namche to Lukla (2,860m/9,186ft) : 6-7 hours

Today is the last day of the trip, it steeps downhill until the Dudh Kosi river. A passing couple of suspension bridges we exit Sagarmatha national park. Keep walking down to Thadekosi, this is the lowest point of the Everest base camp trek. then the ascent to Lukla. Overnight at Lukla.

Day 16 : Fly back to kathmandu

After having breakfast, fly back to Kathmandu. Take you to the hotel. After a shower, you can visit Thamel for shopping.  In the evening we have a farewell dinner in a traditional Nepalese restaurant with cultural dance. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 17 : Final Departure

This is your final day in Nepal. Glacier Nepal treks representative will drop you at Tribhuwan international airport by privet vehicle. Home sweet home.
